| OBJECTIVE |
|
Plan, formulate and implement policies related to housing as a foundation to guide, manage and coordinate the planning and development of established and sustainable housing industry.
|
| FUNCTIONS |

To plan, formulate and implement policies related to housing

To ensure that the National Housing Policy (NHP) action plans are implemented as planned.

Provide advice and feedback on housing related issues.

Conduct housing related research and studies covering socio-economy, finance and environmental aspects.

Gather information related to private housing development and produce quarterly and annual stastistics reports.

The NHP was formulated to provide direction and basis for planning and development of the housing sector in this country with the goal to provide adequate, comfortable, quality and affordable homes in enhancing the sustainability of life of its people.
