 Introduction  
 
The Housing Legal Clinic (HLC) was established with the objective to provide advice and help solve the problems faced by homebuyers against housing developers. Preference will be given to those who cannot afford legal advice or counsel.
 
 
 Function  
 
The function of the HLC is to give views, advice and ways of resolving the dispute between the buyer and developer. If both parties agree with the HLC’s views, they have the right to obtain legal representation and settle their dispute through the court.
 
 
 Jurisdiction 
 
Subject to the Housing Development Act 1966 (amendment) 2002 and Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Regulation 1989
 
 
 Venue  
 
The HLC will preside at the following venue:
